My hair is sortof dry looking and has alot of waves in it. I have no idea what to use to make it look healthy and smooth. And products, ideas, or suggestions? Should I use moose or gell? Get a new shampoo and conditioner? (I am currently using Pantene)
Dry looking wavy/curly hair help!?
I have the exact same hair as you and I finally found the perfect therapy!
You need to shampoo just the top of your head and scalp no more than every other day. Massage in whatever gentle shampoo you want. Then, make sure to use ample conditioner and leave it on for a goog, long while!
When you get out, wrap hair in a towel for a few minutes so it's not sopping wet. Comb with a wide-tooth comb (NEVER a brush, it will damage, break, and destroy your hair!)
Then, depending on the length of your hair, apply 1-2 pumps of Catwalk's Curls Rock! cream starting at the ends. It's easiest to flip your head over and work it in and then scrunch away!!! The scruch will give you more defined "botticelli" curls.
It's kind of expensive, but totally worth it and makes your hair smell AMAZING! I get compliments every single time I wear it.
It won't leave your hair crunchy or dry or wet-looking. You'll have smooth, defined curls that look healthy.
Good luck and always get those trims every couple of months!

my friend had the same problem, you can opt for the vo5 hot oil treatment which you can buy at any drugstores, or you can go to a beauty supply store and ask for a deep conditioning treatment which tend to be a little pricey, hope this helps! good luck
