I have wavy frizzy hair i have straightened it everyday how can i control my frizz?

I have tried anti-frizz shampoo/conditioner but it doesn't work for very long the frizz just comes back i use my straightener all the time and mostly with out a conditioner i am addicted to it i am damaging my hair and i really want to stop..but i hate the frizz!!! i also want to grow my hair longer and faster it is a little bit longer than my shoulders at the moment any help would be really appreciated thank you for your time.

I also have wavy hair that does get frizzy, but what I do is I use something I bought at a hair salon from Paul Mitchell called Super SKINNY Serum. You put it on your hair after shampooing and towel drying, and your hair will dry without much frizz at all.

I like to use it and then blow dry my hair and then straighten my hair with a ceramic flat iron, and my hair stays smooth and silky doing it that way. I also put a little bit of hair spray on my hair when I am done and it seems to keep my hair in place and from getting all frizzed as well during the day.

Good luck! My daughter has thick curly hair and she just puts mousse on it after she shampoo's it and lets it go natural. If you completely stop using the appliances that do dry your hair out, I'm sure that would help as well restoring it to a more healthy balance. My daughter's hair looks so beautiful now--I just don't have the guts to stop straightening mine and going natural like that though...lol!

I have frizzy hair too usually you should buy some hair products (for exapme smoothing anti frizz cream) for frizzy hair its really works! you could buy anywhere really target walgreens fred meyers i recommened Patene brand but i think whatever brand works.

get it pressed or get a perm. but not both, the combo will break your hair out. but perms you can get your hair wet. when it's pressed if it get s wet your hair will get back frizzy. but if you get it permed. only do it once a month.

Have You Tried A Hot Oil Treatment? They Are Like 20 Dollars At A Salon. And They Really Tame The Frizz For A While. Or You Can Put A Serum In Your Damp Hair Before Staightening, Like Frizz-Ease Thermal Protection. I Get Really Frizzy Hair If I Don't Straighten My Hair.

u do it without conditioner... that is why your hair is frizzy and dry.. when you wash your hair... you strip the mousture.. when you dry and straighten you dry it out even more and eventhough you are making your hair straight it is really just frying it.. you need to use a good conditioner and let your hair air dry and use a heat protector spray or hair serum

also.. if you keep straightening your hair all the time (like every day.... even 4 times a week... your hair will get very damaged and keep sliting and breaking off.... and it wont get any longer. And with what you are doing to your hair now it is the exact opposite of what is needed to keep hair growing healthy and gaining length.

try letting your hair air dry (put a lil anti frizz serum in it when you dry it with a towel).....

make sure you use a moisturizing conditioner everytime you wash... or a smoothing conditioner

make sure to use a protector spray or serum when you straighten your hair

do a weekly oil treatment... it is really easy and helps a lot!

you can get hair oils of diff kinds at stores or at sally. I like jojoba oil.. it is 5 dollars at sally... massage it into your scalp and hair and let it set then wash and condition... it will add elastisity and softness to your hair

Stop using the straightener without a conditioner, and don't straighten your hair constantly, give it some rest as much as you can.

The best conditioner I've used so far is the kind that comes with Feria hair color. I don't color my hair, I just use the conditioner. I have wavy %26amp; frizzy hair also, and it is also coarse %26amp; thick. (My hair gets HUGE if I let it air dry because it is so coarse). I just use it a couple of times a week. My friends also use %26amp; love it.

I also do hot oil w/ olive oil (since I already have it in the kitchen) about once a week. I heat up enough oil to saturate my hair %26amp; leave it on for as long as I have time for. Then I rinse all of it off, which may take a few shampoos (you have to get all of the oil out). Then I condition, then I blow dry/straighten.

Try using a pre- straightening spray. There are several types out there. It protects the hair from the heat damage. It may seem like straightening helps but in the long run it just dries it out more so you must protect it before you straighten.
