I know how to url it but how to i do liek beach waves or a little curlerier? ifi break them up the curls they dont' look very good is there a technique for waves if so what?

Well, I have a hair straightener too (it's amika though) and it's also supposed to curl hair...which I haven't exactly figured out yet either. On mine though your supposed to take like a one inch section of hair and put the hair straightener in the middle, then curl it up and pull it down (slowly) curling it more as you go. I don't know if it will help at all cuz it sounds confusing, but it's really not that bad. Because once you get that down it's all about the technique to getting the right kind of curls because they come out lopsided easily Hope I helped!!!!!!!

take a piece of ur hair from the top.clip it to the straightner... then turn it and turn it and turn it until all of the piece of hair gets to the straightner... then, just slide it down... (hard to explain)
